Olan Hendrix has a rich and varied background of ministry experience. His career includes ten years as a pastor, twelve years as U.S. Director of Send International and seven years as General Director of American Missionary Fellowship. He was the founding President of The Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability, co-founder of Evangelical Development Ministry, and Director of Leadership Development for World Vision. |

Mr. Hendrix's teaching has taken him to work in 82 countries of the world. In addition, he has served as consultant to scores of churches and para-church ministries. |

One of the pioneers in the application of management skills and tools to Christian ministry, his landmark book, Management for the Christian Leader, has been an inspiration to many for almost twenty-five years. His new book, The Three Dimensions of Leadership, is published by ChurchSmart Resources. |

In February of 2000, Mr. Hendrix received the Christian Management Association's 2000 Christian Management Award, an award given to honor Christian leaders who have made significant contributions to the development and advancement of Christian management theory and practice. Mr. Hendrix joins the likes of Peter Drucker, Stephen Douglass, Ted Engstrom and Paul Nelson as former recipients of this prestigious award. |
